On Thursday, the 16th of May my class went to stardome observatory by bus.Rooms 19, 16 and 23 went together on the bus. We had some parent helpers from each class. We also got slitted into groups. Some were with the parent helpers and some with the teachers.Then we gone into a room and an educator called John told us about the planets,the Sun and the stars.It felt kind of boring to me but after some time it felt cool because he was  holding a lamp with  yellow light and pretended it was the sun. We also had a quiz with the group we were in.The groups all had names of planets.My groups name was Earth. At the end we finally gone to the planetarium it also had some aliens. It kind of looked like a cartoon. I really liked this it was so cool. I wished if my family could be there with me. I think we did this because our topic for this year is sky's the limit and to learn about space. I really enjoyed it because I really wished if I could go to a planetarium in New Zealand and it was really fun.

This is a picture of Mars before  long time ago. I was so amazed when I so this.
I couldn't belive my eyes because I never knew that Mars had oceans like Earth.
