My last writing for 2020! - Explorers

 Kia Ora, this is my last writing for 2020, and it is called "The Explorers" (this might even be my last blog for 2020). Hope you enjoy!

                                     

The explorers Andrew and Christopher were on their 43rd Mission. They used their kayak to go there. They started paddling, on their way they saw a woman and a baby on an Island. The woman said: “Please take us home, we got stranded here. The explorers thought for a while, then they said: “hop in”. The woman got in the boat, after a while the woman asked them if they were explorers and they said yes. The woman said that she was an explorer as well and she found the baby deep inside the Island. They went back to the island and searched for clues there they found a house made of leaves and stuff that you could find in the forest. There was a family that looked worried. The explorers realised the baby was theirs. They handed over the baby and left. They started to go home because they were too tired for another adventure this day.

Up from the Deep

                                  

George prepared all his stuff, because he was going swimming tomorrow in the evening. He swam for hours until he came up to a coral reef. It was beautiful, it had so many colours . He started exploring the deep blue ocean again, but this time he saw something it was enormous.

He took his underwater torch out as fast as he could; he thought that he had discovered a new animal, but when he took his torch out carefully, it had already gone. He saw it again, but now he realised that the big animal was just a whale shark. George swam next to the whale shark, the whale shark really enjoyed swimming in the deep blue ocean with George.

Colours of the Ocean

 Kia Ora, this is a writing that I did about this picture of a fish, hope you enjoy.

                       

This beautiful day George went scuba diving. They saw turtles, dolphins, orcas and even a shark. Then they saw a creature, it was very colourful. It was a fish but they didn’t know what type of fish it was. They were so confused. After a minute or two it disappeared, they swam and swam for hours until they met the fish again. They saw it again but this time there was more. It happened again, the fishes disappeared one more time. The divers went to the sea again, and there it was this time they had a net. There it was again, they caught it, he took it to the museum. They said it was a very rare fish and it is very hard to spot because it could blend its colours to anything. Knowing that he found something very rare , he was very proud of himself. After that he took the fish and let it into the sea.

The Visitor

Kia Ora, this is my writing for week 1, I hope you like it.

Everyone was in the stadium excited and ready for the robot to come. Then they heard a thud. The massive robot stood in front of the crowd, no one in there had ever seen a robot that was this huge. The robot's arms and feet were gigantic and his body was even bigger.  Everyone gathered around the robot, they were all taking photos. The sky was covered in darkness and clouds. It was like in a horror or science fiction movie. When the Robot stood in front of the crowd it looked like it had shrunk all of a sudden.

The Adventurer

 Kia Ora, this is a story that I wrote about this picture,  I hope you like it. I also drew a picture of how the view might look like from there if you look down.  I also got a question for you " Have you ever had a crazy adventure like this? 

Holding onto the support rope, he made his way towards the top. He really liked having crazy adventures, he even jumped out of the plane right into a swimming pool. It was so windy today and this was the first time that he got scared on his adventures. He carried on, when he got to the top he looked down, he was scared for a moment, he took a deep breath and he was off.  He jumped, he felt like a superhero going to rescue people. He was so high that he could even see the Eiffel tower. Can you ever imagine looking down from there?

The lost Ocean

Kia Ora,  this is a story that I wrote about this picture.  This was first an Ocean, but now it is just a place without any water. I also made a drawing of how this place might have looked before, you can scroll down to have a look at it. I was in a rush  so it is not really good but I still hope you like it. 

                   

This place was once a mighty ocean, but now there is not even a single drop of water. 20 years ago, the rain stopped and the sun shined so bright that the water dried up. That  time was so good, this place was filled with people, but now there is no one but me.    

Two months later….. 

Hey everyone it's me again, and I’ve got some exciting news. It rained yesterday and the ocean is back. It has been so long since I saw this many people here.

The Discovery

Kia Orana, this is a writing that I did for this week, it is called "The Discovery". I hope you like it.

                       

Courageously, on a cold and foggy morning the explorers walked towards the skeleton. They were so cautious about it. First they thought that it was a species of the extinct elephant. But when they took a closer look they understood that it was an animal that was never discovered.

They took one of the bones which was part of the leg. They understood that the animal died from starvation. It was very cold so they left the bone there and went back. This was an enchanted place, there was no one there except the two explorers. They brought the bone to the museum and they were rewarded “best explorers of the year”.

 

The Climb

Kia Orana, this is my writing that I did this week. I hope you like it. 

                                                                 

Exhausted, the man walked up the slope. The sun was bright it started hurting his eyes. He stopped because he couldn't even look up because of the sun. The sky was blue, and the clouds started blocking the sun so he started walking up the mountain again. He looked forward to the view from the top.

 

The Possums

Kia Ora, this is my writing for week 1. I hope you like it, so please feel free to leave any positive comments to encourage my learning.

Carefully, the little Possums held onto their dear mother, doubting if they would slip. One Moment later, loudly the clouds became darker. It started raining and there was a storm. So she got to the top of the enormous tree she was climbing and got her little ones warm. 

The possum had big eyes and elegant black and brown fur. She went up the branch carrying her young. Soon the rain became harder and there was a flood. It was too dangerous for the little possums. While the mother possum jumped to the next tree, one of the possums tried to jump too, but he failed instead he fell into the flood. When the mother possum heard a splash he jumped into the flood, even though she didn’t like water that much just like the other possums. Gladly she got the little possum, and climbed up the tree where the other possums was.  In just a few moments the little possum opened its eyes. 

Gladly after three nights and two days the flood was over. Early the next day after the flood the mother possum went to get the little ones food. Carefully as she was jumping from tree to tree, she saw a garden full of food. She got there as swiftly as she could get, she got the food that she could hold and ran. When she got to  all of her kids she was so happy to see them playing kindly and cheerfully. 

Happy Zone

Holding on.....

Kia Ora, this is my last writing for term two it is called "Holding on..". I also hope you have a nice holiday "Happy holiday everyone".  It is an exciting story hope you like it.

                                       
The little boy was getting ready for bed, he crept into his bed and he fell aslee...p because he was so tired from school. After an hour or two, everyone was asleep and he was the only one awake. Then he closes his eyes and opens his eyes again. He was surprised that  it was morning and he was not in his room, he was under water. There he found something swooshing across him. It had an enormous tail, he held onto the tail and off he went.It was the most exciting ride he had  ever experienced,  Even better than the highest, fastest rollercoaster!The boy held on to the fish’s tail with both hands as it glided through the water. Its scales felt slimy and slippery, yet his grip remained strong.

He was amazed but at the same time he was wondering where the fish would take him. Maybe into a cave or into a mysterious place with gold and diamonds. He was hoping to go to a cave with crystals, because he learned about them in school. When the fish stopped he wondered what kind of fish it was, it was an extraordinary very rarely seen fish. He was fascinated when he heard the fish talking. The fish jumped once and said you must, the fish repeated this more than five times. Then it jumped again and said:  you really must……..

There he was in his bedroom, and standing there was his dad holding on the door. His dad said to him “you really must stop laughing because everyone one is awake because of your laughter. Then he realised it was a dream. His dad asked him what kind of dream he had. Then he told them the crazy dream he had and they all went back to bed and fell aslee….p.

The Artist

Kia Ora, this is my writing that I did for week twelve, hope you like it.\
                         


The little girl Ava who lived in France longed to be an artist from her young age. She would  just draw something and it would come to life. Her Father was an artist in the village. Whenever Ava found her father painting she would always knock down the drawing and spill paint on it and the paintings came to life. Ava’s parents were really proud of her.

 Ava was the best drawer in the countryside, she loved going to a garden which was a quiet place. There in the Garden she would sit for hours and work on one of her drawings.  Once she sat in her room and started drawing, it took her hours of work.  She was drawing a ship. After hours of work she had finished. As Ava spoke the magic word, the ship’s sails started to flutter as if a strong breeze blew through the room. She loved this moment, seeing her creations come to life. It was the best thing she could ever imagine.       

She had done so many other drawings but this was the best one yet. All the other one were 3D too. Her 3D drawings were about humans, animals, rocks, nature and the best one of them was ships and boats. Ava had sold all of her other drawings except for  the ships and boats.  The museum asked for the ship but she was not willing to give it, but when her parents told her to give it to the museum she gave it. That was because she never ever wanted to hurt anyone’s feelings, especially her parents. Then after a year or two her family had to go to the city to live there. Even though she had moved houses from the village, she never forgot the people in the village and the people in the village never forgot her. 

 If I could draw anything and it would come to life I would draw a puppy because I really want a puppy. What would you draw?                                                           

The Lonely Boat

Once in the gorgeous Island of Fiji an Explorer came, she discovered an unusual thing. She saw a boat and if it wasn’t for the peeling paint and the faded fishing nets, she couldn’t tell these boats had years of history hidden in their beams. She looked carefully at the biggest of the boats and her mind began to wander. Who owned it? Where had it sailed too? What sort of memories were hidden amongst the ropes and nets? She stared at the boat for a second, then decided to stay there. She built her own house and started examining the Island. After a month or two, she went back to her own country. When people heard about this Island they all came. They used the boat that the explorer was going to examine. They built so many houses. The city was being polluted. Then they just left that boat that they used. When the explorer came back and saw so many people living there. She was happy to see that, then she went to meet the people. When she got to one of the houses she saw the boat. She was astonished to see that boat. Then she stayed with them for a few days then went back. The next time she came to the Island, it was polluted. She asked them” please stop polluting this gorgeous land”. They agreed with her because of the pollution the water was dirty and the food cost alot of money. You all might be asking what has happened to the lonely boat, well the explorer took it to the museum and left it so everyone could see this boat that was built so many years ago.

Watch and Learn

Once in a beautiful forest there lived a family of bears. Then one day, something unexpected happened. There were two little twins right next to the mother bear. They were so happy about their twin babies. “They are so adorable,” she says to her only child. “They indeed are”, she says. Then the father bear led them out of the forest and into the beach. He started teaching them how to fish, attack, and protect them from predators.   His cubs watched from the beach, learning from his every move. He couldn’t afford to teach them bad habits. Every move and every second counted. They were astonished by their father’s performance. They were so scared that they would not even dare to touch the water but their father encouraged them to get in the water. Just then this enormous wave came and took the twins away. The mother bear was so worried. Father Bear felt a tap on his shoulder, it was a surfer carrying the two twins, the father bear was so happy, they said thank you to the surfer then he went away.

The little bears got into the water and they both caught a fish. They weren’t scared anymore after their crazy adventure.

Magical Eggs

A year ago, he found them deep inside a cave he’d stumbled across in Bulgaria, surrounded by a vast pile of ash from a fire that had long gone out but still gently smoking. To protect them he took them home and put them in a warm place so that when they hatch they would be warm because it was winter  He waited one week than another, time went so fast that it was already two months.  Then he got a book that had a lot of facts about birds. When he finished reading the book he said “I’m going to live these eggs in the forest and visit them every day”. He gathered up the thing he needed. When he got to the forest he looked for a very good place to hide them. Then he took a shovel from his bag and started digging, just then he heard something. He looked around somewhere to hide then he found a cave. He ran into a cave, that's when he found out that he left the eggs behind. He was ready to run and get eggs but he heard the noise again, he was too scared and just stayed there. It was nearly evening that he fell asleep. When he woke up he peeked to see what was making that noise. He didn’t see a thing, he ran to the place where he hid the eggs. He was shocked to see that the eggs were hatched and there was nothing. He felt something soft, it felt like a pillow. He checked again and there was a strange feeling, it still was there. There was also a table. Then he opened his eyes, he saw a ceiling ( which was pretty strange). He was in his bed, he was not in a cave nor in a forest. Then he said, “what a strange dream it was”. 

The Two Paths

 It was a glorious day in the countryside, so peaceful and quiet. It was evening and everyone was getting ready for bed then there was this ear-splitting noise that they heard. All the men in that countryside came to find out what was happening and there was a wildfire caused by a lightning strike. Everyone was so scared but something unexpected happened.  The fire was not coming to the other side and nothing was destroyed but everything on the other side was grey. Their world was disappearing inch by precious inch: a lush, sun-drenched land full of colour and life becoming a barren, ruinous, grey wasteland.

What would become of them all? Was there even a future?  People from the other border started coming to the side where there was life. Soon the Countryside was split into two paths, one path leading to the dryland and the other one to where there was life. One day there was rain, everything was changing to normal.  Everyone was so happy, all the people said in one big voice” what a crazy adventure it was”.

Flying High

Kia Ora everyone, This is my writing that I did about Flying High, I hope you like it.


                                          
In the olden days, man used natural sources to make electricity. Man also created windmills to produce electricity from wind. Once four men worked together to make an enormous fan, They dreamt of a fan bigger than a windmill. They needed water from the lake to run the fan. After months of  hard work and perseverance they finally succeeded. They made the most enormous fan in history. The four men turned on the fan, just then one of them took a cardboard box and started hurtling through the air, it felt like an adventure. This was to be his first incredible adventure and he couldn’t wait to find out where it would take him. 

Hang on

Once in vlogger John’s life he went to the train station. As it was his first time ever ,he was amazed, he was running and making a video. Then he went next to the train and put his hand on the window. It all happened so quickly! One minute he was standing on the platform, the next he was hurtling through the air, hanging on for dear life…  He was panting all the way . Finally the driver of the train stopped the train before they were out of the train station. Some people came and rescued him. After he was rescued he heard his alarm he was confused but when he opened his eyes he was in his own bedroom. Then he understood that it was a dream.

A new way to travel

Kia Ora this is my writing that I did for week 5 and 6.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No – it’s the magnificent Eco-friendly flying machine ‘Zepper 2016’!  

This was found in the woods and it said “Zepper 2016”.  So someone probably made it in 2016 and it got lost.  When people found it, this thing was totally fully covered with mud.  The air was fully gone so people had to fill it with air. There was a suspicious thing on the top. It had some wheels on it and it looked kind of like a carriage. After it was full of air it started to fly,but then the people added a little camera so they could see where it was going to.
